  7. WinAccelerator is a small tool that lets Windows programs run faster.
  8. Acceleration is done by increasing process priority so it gets more
  9. CPU time that other processes. This tool is ideal for time-consuming
  10. tasks like compression, music creation, encryption, rendering and so
  11. on. Additional features include HLT-based CPU cooler that will be
  12. useful for Windows 95/98 users, especially overclockers, and popup
  13. menu that appears within active window and lets you manage process
  14. that created this window as well as control that window itself.
  15. WinAccelerator also can automatically accelerate known processes.
  16. For those who are bored with standard look there is skin support.

  21. To install WinAccelerator launch setup.exe file.

  26. WinAccelerator is distributed as shareware. Everybody can use it for
  27. 30-day evaluation period with no charge. After that WinAccelerator
  28. must be registered. See WinAccelerator help file for information
  29. about registration.

  31. Everybody can redistribute WinAccelerator provided that distribution
  32. package is not altered. Distribution with magazines, on CD-ROMs, via
  33. misc. software archives is allowed. It would be nice if before doing
  34. so publishers could contact program author (just for statistical
  35. purposes).
